Bound Sheboygan for Chicago, she capsized and foundered in equinoctial gale. Her crewmen died in the rigging. Wreck removed in October of the same year.
Owned and mastered by H.J. Hatch of Chicago
Major repair in 1869-70 after stranding in the Straits of Mackinac in November of 1869.
Suffered a near-fatal stranding at Oswego Sep 27, 1875. Rebuilt 1875-6 by Goble & McFarlane.
